Rule #2: Claim Failure. Blame Success.

Writer's picture: Reuven SherwinReuven Sherwin

  • Claim Failure. Blame Success.

  • “Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.” (King Solomon -965 - -928)

  • “The more credit you give away, the more will come back to you. The more you help others, the more they will want to help you.” (Brian Tracy 1944 - )

Well, theory here is simple.

First, you better be committed for what you're doing.

That means responsible for what you're doing.

That means responsible for what your team delivers.

IMO, this evaluates to Claiming Failures.

If something wrong, you're part of it.

You're it.And when something goes wrong, blame someone else.

Blame Success. That's true Ownership. True partnership.

Leadership.
